About me

Ajna: Sanskrit: आज्ञा, English meaning: "command", "perceive", or "beyond wisdom", pronounced like "ARG-nya". It is the 6th chakra (energy center), or third eye, which is located between the eyes, behind the eyebrow center. Simply put, it is our inner teacher, the center of intuition and insight.

Hello, my name is Joanna and I want to share with you the unique blend of Yoga, Ayurvedic Nutrition and Scented Candles. The use of candles during yoga is a practice that goes way back in time. I have always been fascinated by how a scented candle can elevate our yoga practice and meditation.  Bring a sense of warmth and earthiness at your yoga studio or create a sacred and calming place at your home with a 100% handcrafted coconut soy wax blend candle with high-quality fragrance oils. Focus, breathe, connect with your inner self. During my Yoga sessions, I use candles to create a relaxing environment, where students can release tension, focus on their practice, and enjoy the benefits of yoga, aromatherapy, and candlelight, all in one. Accompanied with Tibetan singing bowls during a short meditation at the end of the practice, the yoga sessions become a unique experience. ​My passion is to offer a calming environment where you will feel grounded, challenged, and nourished in movement and stillness. I enjoy sweaty Vinyasa flows, but I also embrace the calmness of a Yin Yoga practice. This is why I love to combine them in a Yin Yang flow. In every class, I will guide you with focus on safety, proper alignment, and mind-body connection. Each class will be different, while still following the traditional practices of Yoga. You will learn to listen to your own body and meet yourself where you are, with mindfulness and compassion. I also work to reduce injury pain and manage stress through breathing and relaxation methods. All candles are hand-poured, labeled and packaged in Switzerland. We use coconut soy wax blend and high-quality fragrance or essential oils.

Our Ayurvedic Nutrition Consultations and Ayurvedic Cooking Classes will teach you easy-to-go recipes and help you develop healthy dietary habits that will improve your overall health. You will learn to balance your body through mindful eating and discover the benefits of an Ayurvedic diet.
